Ambush
IPA | 6.4% ALC. VOL | 65 IBU | Brewed since 2014
The hoppy trap that hits the mark every time
The portrait
The Ambush? It's our liquid ambush. An IPA that pulls no punches. From the first sip, it unleashes its arsenal: fruit jellies, blood orange, pine resin. No holds barred.
With its 65 IBUs, it boasts a frank but perfectly controlled bitterness. The secret? A perfectly balanced hop-forward power and malty roundness. A portion of wheat malt rounds out the edges, providing a silky texture that makes all the difference. At 6.4%, it has punch without being overwhelming.
The name says it all: you thought you were drinking a beer, now you're embarking on a taste adventure from which you won't emerge unscathed. One glass to taste. A second to confirm. And suddenly, your leisurely aperitif has transformed into a nighttime epic. That's the Ambush effect.
History & Recognition
IPA is the story of British settlers who stuffed their beers with hops to survive the journey to India. Hops preserve, but more importantly, they transcend.
Our Ambush reinvents this tradition with a resolutely modern approach. Three hop varieties are added continuously during the brewing process —like a DJ layering beats. The result? A controlled explosion of citrus, resin, and exotic fruits.
This boldness earned us the bronze medal at the European Beer Star, the Holy Grail of brewing competitions. This worldwide recognition confirms what our regulars already knew: this IPA leaves no one indifferent.
The visual universe
The label tells a story of brewing fusion. The American eagle symbolizes the influence of US craft breweries that revived the IPA style. The British hand holding it? A tribute to the style's origins. Hops sit in the center—naturally, they're the star. And that arrow? It represents the surgical precision of our recipe: it aims, it hits, it conquers.
Food and beer pairings
The Ambush loves a fight. Throw it something tough: charred grilled meats, rare red meats, burgers with a sauce that makes you cry. Anything that goes "TCHIII" on the grill, as they say.
Its intense aromas and structured bitterness stand up to the fiercest spices. It interacts with fat, tames spiciness, and enhances smokiness. A true palate warrior.
The final word
The Embuscade remains our hoppy statement of intent. An IPA that embraces its character, that doesn't pretend. For those looking for a beer with bite, which turns every tasting into an adventure.
