When collaboration rhymes with liberation
The portrait
Born from a creative alliance between us and Le Pointu , La Pointure had this noble and universal ambition: to refresh after a hard day's work. Mission accomplished! This season displayed a sparkling, fine and dry body, like a bubble of oxygen in the sometimes too dense world of craft beers.
Rye spice led the way, supported by a caramelized note from the malts—that subtle alchemy that transforms grains into liquid poetry. Simcoe hops brought their signature citrus and exotic fruits, while French Saison yeast crowned the whole with peppery aromas, those final touches that make the difference between a beer and an experience.
The story
This collaboration with Le Pointu already carried in its name the promise of its personality: La Pointure was the art of tailoring in a standardized world. Designed for those moments of decompression when we need something that refreshes both the mind and the palate, it embodied the "less but better" philosophy that drives us.
Food and beer pairings
The Pointure was tailor-made for a platter of country bacon —a rustic and authentic pairing that respected its seasonal, working-class character. Its spicy, caramelized notes also paired wonderfully with semi-hard cheeses , homemade terrines , or spicy dishes from Maghreb cuisine, where rye finds its place in the world of cuisine.
The final word
La Pointure now belongs to those beautiful stories that have marked our brewing journey. It reminds us that the best collaborations are born from a shared vision: to create something greater than the sum of its parts. Its legacy? This lesson that refinement can perfectly coexist with simplicity, and that sometimes, the best size is the one that fits you like a glove from the first sip.
Cheers! 🍻
