INFORMATION

Zepp is our flagship lager: a Craft Lager inspired by the Bavarian Pilsner style, brewed with noble hops (Herkules, Saazer, and Spalter Select) that give it a floral bouquet worthy of a German spring. A pioneer in French-speaking Switzerland, it flowed freely in bars for a long time before making its way into our bottles.

The result? A dry and refreshing sip, without the blandness of industrial lagers, that transports you straight to the banks of the Isar in Munich. Drink well chilled, without hesitation. Cheers! 🍻

History of this beer

Before becoming a bottle, Zepp was a legend at the bar. The first Craft Lager served in bars in French-speaking Switzerland, it spent six years exclusively in kegs (2014-2020), reserved for terraces and happy hours. Carried by persistent word-of-mouth, it made its way to major events in French-speaking Switzerland: Festival de la Cité, the Youth Olympic Games, and even the Tour de France. As demand grew, it made the leap to cans in 2020, then bottles in 2024, so that everyone could finally enjoy it at home.

Beer style

The Zepp proudly claims its Bavarian Pilsner origins, even if it is presented as a "Craft Lager" to keep things simple. Pilsener and Carapils malts give it that light body and clear golden hue. The noble hops Herkules, Saazer, and Spalter Select bring floral and slightly herbaceous notes, without ever falling into pronounced bitterness (29 IBU). Its low fermentation, with a selected Swiss yeast, delivers a dry and crisp finish that calls for the next sip.

Food and beer pairings

Simple, frank, and devilishly refreshing, Zepp feels right at home on any sunny terrace. It pairs wonderfully with grilled bratwurst, a light cheese board, or warm pretzels for an aperitif with friends. Its dry finish also works wonders with grilled fish, fine cured meats, or simple salted crisps. A versatile beer, to be enjoyed when you just want something simple and good, without overthinking the perfect pairing.

Design

On the label of the Zepp, two unexpected figures: a greyhound and a camel, historical nods to the Czech city of Pilsen, birthplace of the Pilsner style and its long brewing tradition. The dreamcatcher hovering above symbolizes the bohemian spirit of Eastern Europe, the land of origin of this style that has become cult worldwide. A graphic and colorful visual that, with its vintage look, tells a whole part of the history of beer, without ever taking itself too seriously, just like the Nébuleuse spirit.
